2Blockheads.com is a small family owned company. The concept of personalized products all started with the birth of the owner's son in 2000, with an unusual name, it was very difficult to find anything with the new baby's name on it and the owner wanted to personalized the room. Her and her mother built a shelf using block letters, a name shelf is what it was called, and it was the very first 2Blockheads.com product. So how did the 2Blockheads name come about you ask? Well, shortly there after and as part of a mom and daughter tradition of preparing for their annual fall craft fairs, they decided to launch this website with the Name Shelf product. They wanted a name that had something to do with blocks obviously since the shelf was made from blocks.. and something that was kinda funny to represent both her and her mom, thus was born 2Blockheads.com as a suggestion from her mom. The first name shelves were a huge success and 2Blockheads.com was officially born in June 2001. The business quickly transitioned into being personalized gifts with the addition of personalized books, name trains, and clocks. Avid crafters or over 20 years. Headquarters is located in Pottstown, Pennsylvania with a satellite location in Springfield, Massachusetts.
